 Flood Warning  Statement as of 8:14 PM CST on November 20, 2009


The Flood Warning continues for
the Guadalupe River near Bloomington.
* From Saturday evening until further notice... or until the warning
is cancelled.
* At 7:00 PM Friday the stage was 14.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by late Saturday evening and
continue to rise to near 26.2 feet by Wednesday morning.

* At 26.0 feet irrigation and oil well pumps... tank batteries... and
equipment in the lower flood plain below Victoria flood. Livestock
are cut off... may have to be fed by boat... and could drown. Homes
downstream above Highway 35 on the left bank are cut off.

... Flood Warning extended until Wednesday afternoon... the Flood
Warning continues for
the Guadalupe River at Victoria.
* From Sunday evening to Wednesday afternoon... or until the warning
is cancelled.
* At 7:15 PM Friday the stage was 8.9 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by Sunday evening and continue to
rise to near 24.5 feet by early Tuesday morning. The river will
fall below flood stage by Tuesday evening.

* At 26.5 feet grover's Bend is under water. Water reaches mccright
drive behind rippamonti field.

as of 300 PM... a record rainfall of 1.66 inch(es) was set at Corpus
Christi today. This breaks the old record of 1.2 set in 1931.

Heavy rain developed across the coastal Bend early Thursday evening.
The rain spread across most of the region Thursday night and Friday
morning. Rainfall was locally very heavy across the northern coastal
Bend. The following are rainfall reports during the past 24 hours.
Many reports will not reflect the final storm total at this time.
